MCA is a ministry extension of a church and as such seeks to hire individuals who are able to support the school’s statement of faith and Christian educational philosophy. All teachers at MCA must be able to pass a background check, and must have a reference from their local church pastor. Part of the interview process includes giving a personal testimony of faith in Christ.
HIRING:
Middle School Teacher
Immediate Opening
We are seeking a full time Middle School teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications for this position are:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required, ACSI certification is preferred but an Illinois Professional Educator License is acceptable
- Experience working with middle school children is a plus
- A person who has a Christian testimony and is active in a local church with theology and doctrine compatible with our school’s statement of faith
- Pastor’s recommendation is required
- Background check, mandated reporter training and CPR certification is required but can be done after being hired

After School Care
We are looking for 2 individuals to be involved in our After School Program. Duties include checking in students after school and supervising while in the playground, weather permitting. In inclement weather the person will supervise indoors, and at times may provide homework assistance.
Once a parent or guardian arrives they make sure that the correct person is picking up and signing them out. Starting time is at 3:30pm until 5:30pm. May need to stay a little longer sometimes if parents are running late.
