MCA is a ministry extension of a church and as such seeks to hire individuals who are able to support the school’s statement of faith and Christian educational philosophy. All teachers at MCA must be able to pass a background check, and must have a reference from their local church pastor. Part of the interview process includes giving a personal testimony of faith in Christ.
HIRING:
Music Teacher, Part Time
MCA is seeking a part time music teacher, for instruction of students in choir and vocal music. This would include teaching each class twice a week, in basic music, in singing as a group and preparation for Christmas and end of year programs. Though a degree and certification are preferred, a waiver can be provided by ACSI for teachers in special courses like music.
Elementary Physical Education Teacher, Part Time
MCA is seeking a part-time PE teacher for grades Pre-K through 3. This position will be in the morning hours, and may also involve lunch and recess supervision. A certificate or degree is preferred, however, a waiver can be provided by ACSI for special course teachers.
Band Director
MCA is seeking a part-time band director. Our band students are in grades 4 through 8, and we have two levels, beginning and advanced. Band class schedule can be flexible.
